Lets set one thing clear. Before owning a Spectrum 4k Monitor. I've always had FHD 240HZ monitors. With that being said, the dramatic difference in picture quality is mesmerizing. I love my Spectrum monitor and it does make it a little difficult to use anything else. I am aware, that certainly there could be better monitors out there, but I have little to no complaints on my EVE Spectrum 4K. It is a superb display and at the time, the price was unmet by competitors. Regardless of whats out there now, I couldn't be more satisfied, a great investment and hopefully EVE continues to set a new trend in the space.
I'm really enjoying my 4k Spectrum. Colors are great, amazing response time, and the auto detect for different inputs works great. I have both a PC (display port) and an Xbox (HDMI) connected.
Overall I am very pleased with the 4K Spectrum monitor. The text is crisp and clear, the color quality is great and it performs well as a whole. It loses some points due to halo'ing when HDR is enabled (you can see it moving your mouse across the screen on a dark background) and G-Sync causing the monitor to crash (no big loss really). Hopefully these can be fixed a bit with firmware; I'd love to see a refreshed model with a 32" display.
While I'm not a professional reviewer who can speak on DCIP color spectrums I am able to enable HDR-400 144Hz G-Sync and 4k resolution it can be a little slow to switch modes and on dark backgrounds the local dimming is weird showing a bit of a glow that can be moved around with the mouse on all black backgrounds (grey or lighter backgrounds this doesn't happen). Updating the firmware was easy enough. I hope a new version keeps the same specs but adds more local dimming zones and higher peak brightness to reach an HDR-1000 spec rating. Some backlight bleed on the bottom left corner.
Very nice monitor and a quality stand, games look great with a 3080ti from evga. One issue is the monitor goes to a blank screen if I don't touch the mouse for like 10 minutes with my pc on, not a big issue, only a minor inconvenience but overall a great experience at a fair price too.
I was initially quite skeptic about the Eve Spectrum. But I took a chance as no 4k hdmi 2.1 monitor was available. And man I have no regrets, amazing monitor for ps5, xsx or my gaming pc.. On top pf that the overall design looks like an apple design product. Highly recommended
This is very good monitor does not cause flickering. I want other products of the displays 2K.
I’ll give it a 5 star for superb work by the community and EVE team! more good and reliable products like these please in the future! Sending lots of love!!!🥰😍
It's a great monitor with such great refresh rates.
Spectrum Monitor is the first & only 4K monitor that i ever bought. Pre order in 2020, waited for 1year + received in 2021. Is worth the wait. The price & quality really top in the market! Wished that they can release bigger inch monitor in the near future.
I got this monitor for one reason, I needed a powerhouse screen to maximize the capabilities of my Xbox series x. With the Spectrum 144HZ 4K 1ms specs I am now able to compete against PC players which allows me to back up my trash talking to PC bullies on cross platform games.
